2 p.m. - Blue Swan Boulders One Year Anniversary Celebration

400 Pittman Street, Unit 103 

Mayor Dyer will join the Blue Swan Boulders team and members to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the 15,000 square-foot bouldering gym in downtown Orlando. Located in Creative Village, Blue Swan Boulders offers a unique fitness amenity and experience for residents in the newest neighborhood in downtown Orlando.

Mayor Dyer will attend the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority board meeting.  

 

5:30 p.m. - Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibition Grand Opening

City Hall Terrace Gallery, 400 South Orange Ave 

Mayor Dyer will join District 2 City Commissioner Tony Ortiz to celebrate the grand opening of the Hispanic Heritage Month Art Exhibition and proclaim September 15- October 15 Hispanic Heritage Month in the City of Orlando. As part of the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the art exhibit will showcase 19 local artists’ work from now until October 24, 2021 at the Terrace Gallery at Orlando City Hall.  Please note, this listing is for media planning purposes only.

10:30 a.m. - POW-MIA Recognition Ceremony

Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, DeVos Family Room, 445 South Magnolia Avenue 

Mayor Dyer will join City Commissioners, and the Mayor’s Veterans Advisory Council to honor United States military prisoners of war and those still missing in action as part of national POW-MIA Day. The ceremony renews the city's commitment of bringing prisoners of war home to their families and vowing to never forget those missing in action.
