9 a.m. - Harbor House Paws for Peace Walk
Blue Jacket Park, 2501 General Rees Boulevard
Mayor Dyer will join District 3 City Commissioner Robert F. Stuart, District 4 Commissioner Patty Sheehan and Harbor House of Central Florida for the 11th Annual Paws for Peace Walk. The Paws for Peace Walk raises funds to help maintain the Harbor House of Central Florida Paws for Peace Kennel pet shelter, which is the only on-site kennel in Central Florida for the pets of domestic violence survivors.

10 a.m. - Demolition Kick-Off for Lake Eola Park Expansion
Embassy Suites Orlando Downtown, Eola Ballroom and Terrace, 191 East Pine Street
Mayor Dyer and District 4 City Commissioner Patty Sheehan will join the Orlando Land Trust to kick off the demolition of the building at 1 North Rosalind Avenue which will allow for the expansion of the City of Orlando’s signature Lake Eola Park. The demolition of the site, where a former 7-11 store sat, will allow for the creation of a new interim plaza and green space for the park.
1 p.m. - 2020 and 2021 Neighborhood Watch of the Year Sign Unveils
Event will start in Rocklake at the corner of Concord Street and North Orange Blossom Trail and then move to Montclair Manor at the corner of Pecos Street and South Semoran Boulevard
Mayor Dyer will join District 5 City Commissioner Regina I. Hill, District 2 City Commissioner Tony Ortiz, Police Chief Orlando Rolón, and neighborhood watch members of Rock Lake and Montclair Manor to recognize the 2020 and 2021 Neighborhood Watches of the Year with an official sign unveiling. Neighborhood Watch Groups are critical partners with the Orlando Police Department in working together with officers to keep Orlando safe.

3:30 p.m. - Downtown Orlando Partnership’s 33rd annual Golden Brick Awards
Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Steinmetz Hall, 445 South Magnolia Avenue
Mayor Dyer with join the Downtown Orlando Partnership at the 33rd annual Golden Brick Awards to celebrate the people, projects and initiatives that propel downtown forward. This year’s “Downtowner of the Year" award will be presented by Mayor Dyer to honor Thomas C. Chatmon Jr., Executive Director of the Downtown Development Board/Community Redevelopment Agency.
7:30p.m. – 40th Annual Orange County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony
Orange County Courthouse, 425 North Orange Avenue
Mayor Dyer will join Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, City Commissioners, Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolón, Orange County Sheriff John Mina and members of the Orlando Police Department and Orange County Sheriff’s Office at the 40th Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony to honor all the courageous and dedicated law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, including those who have succumbed to on-duty illnesses or injuries.
