Rest in Peace, Dr. Hitt.

Former University of Central Florida President John C. Hitt passed away earlier this week. He left an incredible impact on our community. Under his leadership, "UCF Stands for Opportunity," was more than a marketing slogan. He believed in the power of higher education to transform the lives of students and making UCF accessible to residents in our city and beyond. 

Thanks to his vision and guidance, UCF has played a key role in so much of what our community has accomplished over the years. Dr. Hitt leaves a lasting legacy.
