City of Orlando's Bike Infrastructure | Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer
This week we marked the completion of a major addition to our city's bike infrastructure. The Downtown Connector Path along Anderson Street is now ready for those on bikes and all residents to use.
Part of our 8.5-mile Downtown Loop project, the path gives cyclists and pedestrians a safe, convenient route that connects neighborhoods and Downtown Orlando. I was happy to join Tony Ortiz District 2 Commissioner, Commissioner Patty Sheehan, Regina Hill District 5 Commissioner and bike safety advocates to officially open the path.
As we celebrate, we know that our work to make Orlando safer for pedestrians and residents riding bikes must and will continue.
