Orlando promotes recycling of election signs for clean energy conversion

The city has established six collection sites where metal frames will be recycled locally, and plastic corflute signs will be transported to NuCycle Energy in Plant City. Giant inflatable pigeons to be installed in downtown Orlando

The City of Orlando’s Downtown Development Board (DDB), in collaboration with United Arts of Central Florida and Creative City Project, will present an exhibit featuring 16-foot-tall colorful, inflatable pigeons. This installation aims to enhance urban vibrancy, support local businesses, and encourage community engagement. It also invites viewers to reconsider the resilience and adaptability of urban wildlife. The neon pigeons will be displayed through October 17, 2024.
