Florida State University College of Medicine issued the following announcement.
Debra Danforth has been selected as the 2019-20 Texas Tech University School of Nursing Distinguished Alumni. Danforth is associate professor and director of the Charlotte E. Maguire, M.D. and TMH Clinical Learning Center at the FSU College of Medicine. One of Danforth's nominating colleagues shared, “[Her] commitment to the education of future health care professionals is marked by integrity, compassion, and giving back to students, clinicians, educators, and her community.” Plans are underway to celebrate Danforth and other award recipients during Texas Tech's School of Nursing Commencement on May 7, 2021.
