Mayor Dyer will join XFL Chairwoman Dany Garcia and Head Coach Terrell Buckley to welcome Central Florida's newest professional football team, the Orlando Guardians, to Camping World Stadium. The Guardians kickoff their home schedule at the stadium on Sunday, February 26.

11:30 a.m. - U.S. Green Buidling Council Central Florida Leadership Awards

Orlando City Hall, Fairview Room, 9th floor 

Mayor Dyer and the City of Orlando will be honored at the U.S. Green Building (USGBC) Central Florida Leadership Awards for their efforts in the expansion of sustainable buildings and for leadership in social responsibility and community involvement. Mayor Dyer will receive the Sustainability Legend award for his dedication to sustainability initiatives, including the development of the Green Works Orlando program and leading Orlando to achieve a LEED Gold City designation. The City of Orlando will also receive the 2022 Green Facility Manager Award, the 2022 Green Cape Award, and the Innovative Project of the Year Award for the City of Orlando’s Resilience Hubs in the category of Resilience in the Built Environment.
